Last Thursday evening, myself and a few familiar faces attended the third birthday of Nima Brush, an Irish owned brand which specialises in making quality, and affordable makeup brushes.
I was introduced to Niamh Martin, the mastermind behind this successful brand, a few years back at one of the first blogger meet ups I ever attended. Looking back at what she has accomplished since then, I think she is living proof that staying focused and having a strong support system will help your business thrive.
Today, the brand has a number of collection sets as well as makeup accessories to keep your brushes lovely and safe. Niamh does workshops where you can learn to care for your brushes and how to properly use them. On top of that, Nima Brush won the RSVP Beauty Awards in 2014 and they are also winners of the U Magazine Beauty Awards ’15.
But what I like the most about Nima Brush is the fact that each of the brushes is named after someone in Niamh’s life. This adds a personal touch to it, and if you don’t already know, I’m a sucker for that kinda thing – makes me feel so emosh! Also, they are made of natural fibres and strong brush ferrules to ensure they last as long as possible and most importantly, so that you can get the most usage out of them.
So what did the night entail? Well for starters, a lot of bubbly. Sweets, competitions, spot prizes and a glance at the 13 piece brush set, where we had the option to purchase brushes.I didnt buy any brushes on the night because luckily, I was one of the few gals who won a prize – I never usually win, so I was absolutely chuffed to find a winning ticket in my gold envelope and then to be prized with these little guys here:
All in all, it was a very successful night and I was happy to have catch ups with my favourite people! I’m really looking forward to using my Nima Mitt as well as my new brushes! I actually already own one of their angled brushes, but I suppose you can never have enough brushes, especially when it’s a Nima!
A huge congrats to Niamh and the Nima Brush team, and a big thank you to the Bronze staff and everyone who contributed to the success of the night.
