Confession: my feelings are hurt…

youtube

Happy Monday guys and gals! 😛

I have a new video up on my YouTube channel where I share a story about why my snowflake feelings have recently been hurt – bloody millenials, right?

This video almost takes on the form of a video podcast because I speak straight through without editing out my goofy mistakes – safe to say you’ll be getting Filomena in a full package (well, kinda).

Be sure to watch my latest YouTube video when you get the chance, you might even find some comfort in hearing my little confession 😉

My top 10 most-watched YouTube videos

youtube

With today being both #TBT and the first of February, I’ve decided to compile a list of my most popular YouTube videos to date. Since my YouTube channel is still relatively new, I always experience a feeling of accomplishment whenever people like, comment or subscribe to my channel – see what I just did there!?

I have clearly adapted the universal language of all YouTubers at this stage, so much so that one may even go so far to call me a YouTuber.  However, I still struggle to classify myself as a YouYuber since creating video content is still secondary to me.

As much as I enjoy making videos, writing will always be a priority. I make YouTube videos whenever I get the chance and I try not to pressure myself into creating one when I can’t. So with that said, here are my top ten most-watched YouTube videos to date 🙂

10. #Storytime: having sex with a lace wig

9. First date jitters

8. Single at 27

7. Get to know me!

6. My most embarrassing first date moment

5. I don’t hate Irish men (RESPONSE VIDEO)

4. One month on Herbalife

3. Why I’m single

2. 5 types of racist trolls the black Irish meet online

1. 5 things Irish guys should never say to a black girl on Tinder

I hope you get the chance to browse my channel, and if you like my content then don’t forget to subscribe! :*

Why men cheat VS why women cheat

youtube

While it’s never fair to paint every man or woman with the same brush, a recent survey suggests that maybe it is something we should start considering when it comes to matters of cheating. The survey highlights the differences in how and why men and women cheat and the findings are quite alarming – to say the least!

Do you think the reasons behind why people cheat ultimately come down to each individual or does it have a lot more to do with a person’s gender than we’d like to admit? Watch my recent video as I discuss the mind-blowing findings of this survey, be sure to watch the full thing 🙂

Being unmarried doesn’t make you a failure

vlog/ youtube

Happy Monday ladies!

Last week, I put up a video on my YouTube channel all about young marriages & the perceived concept of a “real” woman in the African community.

Although the focus of my video was on African mentality, I think it is important to note that these attitudes and beliefs are not confined to just African culture, they also extend to some Western societies as well.

Do watch the full video and if you can relate or know a friend who can resonate with this, then don’t be afraid to share! Enjoy 🙂

YouTube regrets & self-reflection

vlog/ youtube

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying this beautiful day 🙂

I have a new video up on my channel all about YouTube regrets and whether or not I have any following the drama with my open letter. I think self-refection is absolutely vital when it comes to maintaining a healthy mind and perspective on things, so I touch a bit on the importance of sitting with yourself and tuning in with your mind.

I hope you enjoy this video, and be sure to watch till the end as I will be showing you my giveaway products! 🙂

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a good Monday! 🙂

I have a new video that I wanted to share with you guys about something I like to call the #BloggerComplex – a term I like to use to describe the mentality and attitudes developed by some* bloggers after having been part of the blogging industry for while i.e sense of self entitlement, inflated ego and so on and so forth!

Sex On The Green

Sexuality/ youtube

I’ve been sitting on this video for about two weeks at this stage. Hemming and hawing about whether or not to go live with it. But today, I’ve finally found the courage to show you guys my latest project. This is something I’ve been meaning to launch for quite a while now and I realised if I don’t do it now, I’ll never do it so here it is…..

Sex On The Green is a new five part series that I’ll be launching on my YouTube channel in mid-July. The series revolves around me questioning people on St. Stephen’s Green about different taboos related to sex and dating. The conflicting viewpoints people have when it comes to sex and dating have always intrigued me. This interest grew particularly strong during my year of celibacy, when I received a surprising amount of negativity for choosing to abstain from sex for twelve months.

My growing fascination with societal attitudes towards dating paired with my desire to break the stigmas attached to people’s sexual choices led to the birth of Sex On The Green and I hope that in opening up a healthy discourse about the things we often talk about in a shameful way, it will help break the stigmas attached to people’s sexuality.

I had so much fun filming this video, so I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it! 🙂 A massive thank you to Kassi from www.justkassi.com for helping me with the videography! All feedback is welcomed x

Disclaimer: I am not a sex blogger, nor am I a journalist. This is a project that I am really excited to be working on for my YouTube channel. It is a small fragment of the content I currently have up on my YouTube channel & blog, it doesn’t define my work as a whole.

“You’re a frilly pair of knickers away from being a Bridget Jones” and other funny quotes about me!

vlog/ youtube

I was once told that I am overly concerned with using Instagram, taking selfies and eating Happy Meals. Although there was a time in my life where I would have found the truth in those words incredibly offensive, I can’t help but laugh at them today – especially since I can’t remember the last time I actually had a Mc Donalds!

Nothing humours me more than hearing some of the things people say about me and I’ve always made it a point to surround myself with people who never fail to have me in tears of laughter – it truly is the best medicine! So I’m about to give you a dose of that with some funny quotes about me – which may or may not be true.

Hope you enjoy my video! And remember, if you can’t laugh at yourself, then who can you laugh at? 🙂
